Most people have the natural talent to be an artist. You just need to know the technique, a wide variety of styles in painting and practise. Our painting class provides these necessary skills so you can make the most of your talents. About artist Minoo Alavi was born in 1969. She got her M.A. degree in visual art in 1993. She showed an interest in art at an early age. She has passed different courses in drawing, oil painting, color pencil, pastel, collage and decorative handmade crafts. She has been doing art for 20 years. As she moved to Canada in 2001, she continued her art works in Montreal by participating in different art and craft fairs, designing walls for daycares and also having private painting classes for children. Minoo is now in Ottawa and had many shows for her art works in different places. As an artist, she is the one who can never stay at one point for long. Her artwork mixes all kinds of techniques with multiple styles. Her most favourite type is abstract and semi-abstract in which she can reflect her love in colors, shapes, textures and patterns, She wants to share her passion for art with others by offering painting lessons to adults and children and let them enjoy their own piece of art.
